Derflová, Michaela ; Novotná, Magdalena (advisor) ; Kuříková, Michaela (referee)
The diploma focuses primarily on the issue of creativity development and self-realization for talented students in art education classes. It also monitors the quality of creative work depending on the environment, time allocation and situation. The students are presented with ideas for creation, which they can complete and change according to their imagination, feelings and skills. I focus on the aspect of constant internal motivation depending on the appropriate creative environment and the possibility of applying an individual solution and I also examine the importance of the time factor that the student has for his work determined by the schedule. Using a qualitative case study, I am also looking for an answer to what time allocation is sufficient for the student. The research shows that a suitable environment for the creation of talented female students is that with plenty of freedom and space for emancipation is provided, in which they can express themselves and which is stimulating for them. They look for enough motivation to be creative and a calm, welcoming environment. On the contrary, an environment with trivial tasks, too much pressure, an insufficiently educated teacher and a lack of incentives and support is unsuitable for them. Research also shows that the time allowance according to...

Rohlíková, Petra ; Rymeš, Milan (advisor) ; Bedrnová, Eva (referee) ; Štětovská, Iva (referee)
A managerial role place great challenges on the individual from the perspective of self- management, primarily considering the challenges of that role and individual needs and values. This dissertation discusses the potential for maintaining well-being when performing in a managerial role in a supra-national corporation. The focus is primarily on the idea of flourishing (thriving) defined by the American psychologist Martin Seligman. Flourish fundamentally includes subjective, hedonic elements (experiences of joy), as well as, eudaemonic quality built on the individual but for the wider community. Flourishing is closely linked to the self-concept of the individual; its content is subjective in character. Employment in a supra-national environment includes characteristics which may reduce the quality of this for an individual. This, mainly, involves constant adapting to change, working in a turbulent environment, collaborations encountering cultural differences (national and organisational), working in a matrix structure and/or frequent emphases on hedonism or consumerism. The research is predominantly qualitative in character; mapping pivotal topics which, in the future, will require a more empirical approach. This research focuses on a deeper understanding of functional areas and strategies which...

Inovace Řízení Mezinárodních Organizací
Tetenova, Evgeniia ; Velinov, Emil (advisor) ; Malý, Milan (referee)
Recent studies have shown that traditional management approaches and techniques are not capable of handling a saturated competitive and fast changing environment (Rishipal, 2014). At the same time, most commonly used organizational structures have to be questioned - according to a recent study of Deloitte, most of the companies are not satisfied how their organizational structure functions (Greenfield, 2016). Therefore, this thesis aims to examine the development of modern innovative management methods and practices (including ones which are denoted as Obliquity, Adhocracy, Sociocracy, self-management, etc.) and in practical part it focuses on recently emerged organizational structure called Holacracy. Holacracy is a framework for structuring the organization, it is like an operating system for business that requires the installation of different applications (Knopka Company, 2014; Mint, 2016): for example, applications for hiring employees, for setting salaries, for planning or logistics. Therefore, within the framework of Holacracy, you can apply any other practices such as Lean, Agile or Scrum. For the purpose of this study, the following methods are implemented: the method of qualitative systematic literature review and the analysis of the practices of 97 companies worldwide are summarized and presented in order to critically examine previous research and experience of various companies and, consequently, identify positive and negative elements of Holacracy, its comparison with hierarchy, give suggestions on implementation and create the layout of ideal company for Holacracy.
